This is absolutely one of the best places around for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes are amazing, sandwiches are incredible and desserts are all homemade and out of this world. You can’t go wrong here! – Dan, Highlands

They have the best fresh baked New York style bagels to be found anywhere & also great coffee.  I go mainly for breakfast, but they also have  a nice lunch and dinner menu.  Definitely worth a trip there to grab a bagel & coffee before hopping on the Seastreak to NYC. -Jeff, New York, NY

Got to love the Jersey Shore only thing better than the ocean air is a great meal. We were totally suprised by the Bay Street Cafe in Highlands NJ.  Authentic NY hand rolled bagels and homemade baked goods to die for.  Great choice for breakfast don’t miss the bananas foster waffles.  The cheesesteak is awsome choice for lunch hand sliced beef on italian bread imported from NY. “Forget about it!” Philly; you got nothing on this NJ gem.  If you have a special event coming up, have them make you a custom cake.  They are as beautiful as anything the cake boss could dream up, more delicious, and a third of the price. -Stu, Montclair

Their coffee cakes looked amazing (I didn’t get one though) and their eggs benedict hit the spot. -Nina, Oakland CA

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to stop in and get my husband a good-boy treat. I picked the brownie because it looked delicious and it was only $1. It was way better than I hoped it would be. It was sooooo good. It was really rich and chocolatey, dense but soft. And it had chocolate chips inside. It was the perfect brownie. I’m highly anticipating going for breakfast and lunch. – Brianne, Montclair
